VEMAAcquisitions

Technical due diligence for small acquisitions.

A fixed-fee review of the software a business runs on, before the deal closes.

What we're exploring

When someone buys a $2โ€“15M business that runs on software (a custom app, a booking or billing system, an e-commerce stack, a pile of integrations), a financial review checks the numbers. We don't yet know how often anyone checks the systems those numbers depend on, and that is what we're asking.

We're exploring a fixed-fee technical due-diligence memo for these deals: what the software is, who can maintain it, what will break or need rebuilding in the first year, and what that is likely to cost. It's delivered remotely in about ten days.

Where this stands

This is in development. We have no customers to show you and no testimonials to quote. Before we build it out, we're asking the people who advise buyers (QoE providers, deal attorneys, investors and lenders) one question: on software-heavy deals, does anyone review the technology today, who does it, and what does it cost?
